Social Agent

The Social Agent publishes your best reviews on your social channels on a schedule, with an image and a caption created for you, so your pages stay active without you posting by hand. You'll find it under the AI Agent group of the Engagement section.

What the Social Agent Does

One Review per Run

Every time the schedule comes around, the agent picks one review, builds the image, writes the caption and publishes the post on the channels you selected. It is one post per run, not a batch.

Which Review Gets Picked

The agent looks at reviews that contain text, that meet your rating threshold and that have never been shared before, inside a period as long as your chosen frequency, and takes the most recent one. If it finds nothing in that period, it looks back over twice as long. A review that has already been published is never reused, so your feed doesn't repeat itself.

Where the Image Comes From

The image is generated from the review itself, with the reviewer's name, the rating and the source, using the layout, background and font of the template you set up under Engagement > Template (see the Social Media Template article).

Setting Up the Agent

Turn It On

Open the Setup tab and switch on Enable Social Agent. At least one social channel has to be connected, otherwise a Connect Your Social Pages window appears with a Go to Integrations button. Nothing is applied until you press Save.

Post Type

Select post type decides the format: Post or Story. Stories cannot be published on Google or TikTok, so those two options are switched off when you choose Story, and if Google was selected you get a warning that Stories are not supported for Google.

Caption Tone, Length and Language

Select caption tone and Select caption length shape the text that accompanies the review, and Select caption language sets the language it is written in.

Share Frequency

Select share frequency decides how often a review is published: once a day, every 3 days, once a week, every 2 weeks or once a month. The same value also defines how far back the agent looks for a review to share.

Rating Threshold

Select rating threshold keeps low ratings out. Only reviews with that rating or higher are shared, so choosing 5 stars limits the posts to your best feedback. On platforms that use a 10-point scale, such as Booking, Agoda or Expedia, the rating is converted to the 5-star scale first, so an 8 out of 10 counts as 4 stars.

Additional Instructions

Additional instructions lets you add your own guidance for the caption; keep it within 500 characters, as the note on the field indicates.

Platforms

Under Select platforms you switch on the channels that will receive the post. Only connected channels appear, and the Google option needs Google Login. You have to select at least one — otherwise you won't be able to save, and a message asks you to select a platform.

Override Manual Settings

Override manual settings applies this same configuration whenever you generate an AI caption for a share you are doing by hand.

Following What the Agent Does

The Feed Tab

The Feed tab lists every post the agent has published, with the caption, the date it was posted and the icons of the channels it went out on.

When a Post Fails

A failed card shows a Failed Reason. The most common ones are that no shareable review could be found, that the caption or the image was rejected by the channel, that a connected account could no longer be authenticated or is missing a permission, that no platform was selected, or that you have run out of AI tokens.

Nothing to Share

If every recent review has already been shared, has no text, or sits below your rating threshold, the run ends without a post and the Feed records it. Collecting new written reviews, or lowering the threshold, is what gets the agent going again.

Email Notifications

If Automated Social Sharing is switched on under Settings > Notifications, you receive an email each time the agent publishes a post, with the review, the caption and the channels used.
