This article covers the credentials you use to log into Agency Mode — your name, email and password — which you edit in Settings > Account > Access.
What You Can Change
The Fields
The Access tab, under the Platform heading, holds five fields: Full Name, Email, New Password, Confirm New Password and Language. Change whatever you need and click Save; Clear discards what you've typed and restores the current values. Save stays disabled until you've actually changed something.
Your Password
A new password has to be at least 8 characters long — there's no requirement about uppercase letters, numbers or symbols. The two password fields have to match, otherwise the form won't submit.
Your Email
Your email is your username, and it has to be unique across the whole platform: if another account already uses that address, you won't be able to save it. The new address takes effect immediately, with no confirmation email to click, so make sure you typed it correctly — it's the address you'll need in order to log back in.
Staying Logged In
Changing your email or your password doesn't sign you out, and doesn't sign out any other device where you're already logged in. If you're changing your password because someone else may have had access, log out of your other sessions yourself.
Your Language
The Language Field
Language sets the language of Agency Mode: "The language of your agency dashboard. Your clients keep their own language." Agency Mode is available in English, Italiano, Español, Deutsch, Français, Nederlands and Português. Each one is listed under its own name, so you can find yours even when the interface is currently in a language you don't read.
It's Per User, Not Per Agency
The choice is yours, not the agency's: every member of your team picks their own, and nothing your clients see changes. It's saved on your account, so you get the same language the next time you log in, on any device.
The Globe Button in the Top Bar
On a computer you can also switch language without opening Settings: the globe button in the top bar shows the current language as a two-letter code (EN, IT, and so on) and lists the same languages, with a check next to the one in use. Pick one and the interface changes straight away. A phone or tablet has no top bar, so use the Language field here instead.
Where These Credentials Work
Both Login Addresses
These are the credentials for your own Agency Mode login, and they work on both addresses: your default Climbo login domain, and your own white-labeled domain followed by /admin.
Two-Factor Authentication
Agency Mode doesn't offer two-factor authentication, so the strength of your password is what protects your account. Use a long, unique one.
If You're Asked to Reset Your Password
The Forced Reset
In two cases the platform opens a Reset your Password window that you can't dismiss until you've set a new password: the first time a newly invited team member logs in, and after you've logged in through a password reset link. Set the new password and you're taken straight into the platform.
Reset Links Expire Quickly
A password reset link is valid for 10 minutes. After that, request a new one from the login page. For security, you'll see the same confirmation whether or not the address belongs to an account, so a reset request never reveals which emails are registered.
The Confirmation Screen Stays Yours
That confirmation screen ("We've sent you a link") asks the person to check their inbox and spam folder and closes with "If you haven't received the email, contact us." — a plain sentence, with no link. It used to point at climbo.com; it no longer does, so the screen your team sees on your own domain carries nothing but your brand. Anyone who still can't get in should be contacting you, not us.
