Climbo integrates with Zapier, so you can build workflows that connect Agency Mode to almost any app on Zapier. This article covers setup and the available triggers and actions.
What You Can Build
Examples
For example, you could connect Climbo to your CRM so that every new client is automatically added under a specific category the moment they sign up. Or set up a workflow that generates an invoice in your accounting app whenever a new charge comes through. Zapier workflows like these let you automate the busywork between Climbo and the rest of your toolset.
Getting Started
The Zapier Section
Settings > Zapier embeds Zapier's own workflow builder directly inside Agency Mode, so you can search apps, pick a template and build a workflow without leaving the platform.
Signing Up
You'll need a Zapier account. If you don't have one, you can create it right from the embedded panel in a couple of clicks, since your email address and brand name are filled in for you. Once you're connected, the workflows you build here are ordinary Zaps and remain available from your Zapier account.
Finding the App on Zapier
On Zapier the integration is published under the name AI Connector, which is also the name your clients see on their side. If you search for it directly on Zapier's site, that's the name to look for.
Triggers and Actions
What the Names Mean
A trigger is an event in Climbo that starts a workflow. An action is something Zapier asks Climbo to do. The wording on Zapier is occasionally shorter than the platform's own wording for the same event, so match them by meaning rather than by exact label.
Triggers
- New Client — Triggers when a new client is created.
- Client Deleted — Triggers when a client is deleted.
- Client Status Change — Triggers when a client's status changes.
- Client Plan Change — Triggers when a client's plan changes.
- Trial Ending Soon — Triggers 3 days before a client's trial is due to end.
- Trial Ended — Triggers when a client's trial has ended.
- New Charge — Triggers when a new charge occurs.
- Location Created — Triggers when a new location is created.
- Location Deleted — Triggers when a location is deleted.
- Review Site Added — Triggers when a review site is added.
- Review Site Removed — Triggers when a review site is removed.
- New Google Review — Triggers when a new Google review is left.
- New Private Feedback — Triggers when a new private feedback is left.
- New Video Testimonial — Triggers when a new video testimonial is left.
Actions
- Add Client — Adds a new client to your platform.
- Change Status — Updates a client's account status.
- Change Plan — Updates a client's subscription plan.
- Delete Client — Deletes a client from your account.
- Get Client — Finds and retrieves a client by their email.
Two Events Zapier Doesn't Cover
Two contact events — a contact created and a contact deleted — aren't available as Zapier triggers. If you need those, use Settings > Webhooks instead: it covers every event, including these two. See the Webhooks article for how to set one up.
Zapier for Your Clients
On Their Side
Your clients have their own automation section, Settings > Automate, where they'll find their API key, the unbranded API documentation, the same AI Connector app on Zapier, and a Google Sheets integration. It's available on plans that have Automation Features enabled, so if a client can't see it, check their plan first.
