Settings > Profile is where you manage the details of your connected Stripe account: who you are as a business, and where your payouts go. The page is Stripe's own account management panel, embedded in your platform.
Where to Find It
Settings > Profile
Open Settings and click Profile in the Finance group of the sidebar. As with the other Finance pages, only Owners and Admins see it, it appears only once your Stripe account is connected and onboarded, and Settings as a whole is desktop-only.
Verification Before You Can Edit
Because this section holds sensitive data, getting into it requires Stripe's own verification step — a code sent by SMS to the phone number linked to your Stripe account. This check is run by Stripe, not by Climbo, so use the number Stripe has on file.
What Stripe Still Needs from You
The Notification Banner
At the top of the page you may see a Stripe notification banner. It appears only when your Stripe account has outstanding requirements, including information that will be due later: documents or details Stripe needs to keep verifying your account and paying you. Deal with anything that shows up there quickly, since unresolved Stripe requirements are the usual reason payouts stop arriving.
Editing Your Details
Business and Personal Information
Once you're past the verification step, you can edit the details attached to your Stripe account: country of residence, address, company name, your own name, public-facing contact information, and so on.
Why They Matter Beyond Stripe
These are the details that appear on the invoices your clients download from their billing portal. If your company name or address is wrong here, it is wrong on your clients' invoices, so treat this page as your invoicing identity and not just as Stripe housekeeping.
Payout Methods and Currency
Bank Accounts and Cards
This is also where you manage your payout destinations — the bank account or debit card your payouts are sent to. You can connect more than one and choose which is the default. Payouts themselves stay automatic; you only monitor them from the Payouts page.
Default Currency
Payouts are made in the currency tied to the connected payout method, and that currency is also your platform's default currency. Connect a US bank account and both your payouts and your figures are in dollars; connect an Italian account and both switch to euros. You can't pick a default currency unrelated to your payout method, since it reflects the currency Stripe actually settles in. If you add a second account in another currency, you can make that one the new default.
What the Default Currency Affects
Climbo reads this currency live from your Stripe account, and the affiliate sign-up widget only accepts plans priced in it. New paid plans don't pick it up automatically: Select currency always starts on USD, so choose the matching currency yourself when you create a plan. So changing your default payout currency changes what you can sell next — it does not convert plans you already created.
Account ID, Stripe Express and Support
Where the Connection Itself Lives
The connection itself is managed from a different page: the Stripe tab of Settings > Account. There you'll find the Email and Account ID of the connected account, both read-only, a Stripe Express button, and Disconnect Stripe.
Opening Stripe Express
The Stripe Express button opens your connected Stripe Express account in a new tab. Log in with your own Stripe credentials and you get Stripe's full view of your account — and, importantly, access to Stripe's own customer support. Use it for anything that is on Stripe's side rather than the platform's, such as understanding exactly why a specific payment failed or why a payout is delayed.
Disconnecting
Disconnect Stripe lets you restart onboarding with a different Stripe account, and it can't be undone. You can't disconnect while any client still has an active subscription — see the Connect Stripe article.
